To provide an overview of current status and problems of archives and archive materials relating to Jewish Studies. To initiate procedures in a number of functional areas, through a new international coordinating mechanism, in order to improve accessibility. At least one general scholarly meeting and two technical-functional meetings will be proposed. Results will be disseminated to the scholarly community.
