To support the planning necessary for the establishment of a New York Historical Resources Center, the first objective of which will be to create a comprehensive, computerized clearing-house of information on historical resources having to do with the state. The Center will locate, inventory, and describe the various types of collections having historical significance which are held in all kinds of New York State repositories.
