To microfilm the University of Missouri's collection of Indian Records. These records were created by the Univ. administrative, teaching, and tech. staff while carrying out their assignments in the Indian states of Orissa and Bihar during the period 1957-72. The Univ.1s mission (as specified in contracts with AID) was to promote rural development in Orissa and Bihar thru teaching, research, and extension training. Microfilmed records will provide documentation of the Univ.'s efforts in showing a non-Western culture how to apply Am. tech. in the solution of farming-related problems. Microfilm will aid current movements in both India and U.S. to establish educational and agriculture programs.
