To support the improvement of the environment to preserve the collection of historical objects related to World Warr II.

Through its World War II 7th Ferrying Group collection preservation project, the Cascade County Historical Society Museum will improve the environmental conditions of this nationally significant collection of photographs, papers, and three-dimensional objects. This collection documents the story of a little-known aspect of the US WWII involvement. Under the Lend Lease Act, 7th Ferrying Group personnel, based in Great Fall, MT, adapted US airplanes to Soviet standards and flew the planes to Alaska, where Soviet pilots continued the flights to the Russian front.
