To support reformatting and digitizing archival documents related to maritime history.

The USS COBIA Archival Collection consists of thousands of items related to the World War II submarine USS COBIA, a National Historica Landmark. Collection items include construction blueprints and Navy issued operation manuals. The collection is a unique survivor of WWII and used extensively for presentation and restoration of COBIA. Purchasing additional moveable shelving and blueprint storage cases to be installed in an expanded library will provide propoer archival storage for the orginal items in accordance with American Association of Museum standards and practices.
