The digitization of approximately 2,700 hours of newsfilm from Maine’s eight local and public broadcasting stations documenting state history and culture from 1953 to 2008. 

Northeast Historic Film will catalog, digitize and publish the television material received in over 83 accessions for all television stations in the state of Maine. The material includes news stories, sporting events, interviews, programs, and advertisements.
