The Southern Courier Digital Access Project

The project will provide for 1) the creation and preservation of a permanent and complete film archive of the Southern Courier newspaper; 2) the creation and dissemination of the complete digital archive of the Southern Courier newspaper; and 3) free public access to the Southern Courier digital archive, both through partnerships with academic, cultural, and historical institutions, and through the creation and publication of interactive resources on the world wide web, to include the complete archives of the Southern Courier newspaper, and other supplementary materials as appropriate.

Features a very basic, no-frills user interface, much like having access to a searchable, online set of microfilm reels.
