Three humanities fellowships each year for three years.

The project forms part of the Visiting Members Fellowship Program in the School of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study. It will be carried out over a 3-year period from September 1, 2005 through August 1, 2008. The project will involve an average of 5 NEH Fellows each year for the three-year period for a total of 15 Visiting Members out of the approximately 54 in residence in the School over that period. Support for the project will make possible the individual and collaborative scholarly work of the Visiting Members and enhance the accomplishments of the School as a whole.
