Preliminary work has been done on three volumes of the fifteen volume series; the Middle Works of John Dewey, 1899-1924. To accelerate the publication schedule for the three volumes. The books, to be published by the Southern Illinois University Press by 1976, will be prepared under the guidelines of the Center for Editions of American Authors.
