To enable the Yale Editions of the Private Papers of James Boswell to augment its staff so that the complete Catalogue of the Boswell papers, a volume of correspondence, and at least two volumes of late journals can be published. The Catalogue will be an invaluable finding tool to a mass of primary materials concentrated in the 18th century but also rich in 16th and 17th century documents.
