To support the preparation and editing of the first 10 manuscripts in a series of "Critical Scores of Early Musical Masterworks." Each of the "Critical Scores" will be edited by a different specialist scholar, who will include essays that treat separately the history, analysis, performance problems, and aesthetic nature of that work.
