To edit the letters of William Morris (1834 to 1896). The edition will contain an introduction reevaluating Morris' character, writings, influence upon taste in the decorative arts and architecture; and his role as a 19th century English political thinker. Morris' relationship to other prominent Victorians will be defined. The letters will be arranged chronologically.
