To bring together an edition of the dramatic records of the city of Chester (England) from its present state of raw transcription to photo-ready copy for publication. This volume, which brings together all the surviving records from the archives of the city of Chester, the county of Cheshire, Chester Cathedral, the city guilds, the Public Record Office, the Bodleian Library, Oxford, and the British Museum, will be the record in a new series, Records of Early English Drama. To be published by the Centre for Mediaeval Studies, the University of Toronto.
