Research Program on the Foundations of Ethics and Its Relationships to Science

To support a 2 1/2 year research and postdoctoral fellowship program on the foundations of ethics and science. The program has 3 principal goals; 1) to examine the foundation of ethics in relationship to science, particularly the life sciences in order to determine future research needs and directions; 2) to assist promising scholars in the field of ethics and the life sciences with their further education; 3) to assist universities and professional schools to establish local research and teaching programs in ethics and life sciences.
