Warren T. Reich (Project Director: July 1972 to present)

To edit a cross-disciplinary Encyclopedia of Medical Ethics which serve as a basic educational tool and standard reference work in the field. The Encyclopedia will synthesize, correlate, and analyse all the significant "data" in the field of medical ethics as well as point to emerging tendencies and new directions in the ethics of biomedicine. (The work will consist of a series of essays of a critical nature, and is thus not really an encyclopedia.)
