The primary text is a 325-page history of the Mexican Revolution as reexamined and revised by a young French scholar. Since the text is extremely controversial and the French edition is deficient in footnotes, the translator will attempt to adequately document the book in collaboration with the author and El Collgio de Mexico. The University of California Press has agreed to publish the book when the translation has been completed.
