To support the translation and textual analysis of "Kumarasambhaya," the poeticmasterpiece of the classical Sanskrit poet and dramatist Kalidasa. The epic, probably written at about the end of the fourth century A.D., celebrates the relationship between the god Siva and his consort Uma.
