To support the translation of the BOOK OF PROPHECIES compiled by Christopher Columbus from biblical and medieval texts and of the 2,000 Postils (notes) he wrote in the margins. In these documents, Columbus appears less the rational navigator of historical record than a man with a mystical sense of mission.
