To support the translation, with introduction and notes, of the Yerushalmi Kilayim ("Each According to Its Kind"), the tractate of the Palestinian Talmud (third to fifth centuries C.E.) on an agricultural section of the Mishnah, the earliest rabbinic document (200 C.E.), which the Babylonian Talmud neglects.
