To prepare the 13th volume in a series designed to assess the current state of linguistic historiography in all geographic areas of the world. This volume will deal with the history of linguistics in the Western tradition, the history of phonetics and those fields not included in the Western tradition in state-of-the-art papers presented by distinguished scholars in these fields.
