To conduct intensive discussions with the chief representatives of the Soviet Neo-Structuralism school of literary scholarship. The discussions, which will take place in Leningrad, are an important aspect of a full-scale reassessment of Structuralism as a critical methodology. PI began this study under an NEH award in 1968-69.
