The Registers of Philip Augustus

To produce a critical edition of the unedited and badly edited portions of the registers of Philip Augustus, King of France, 1180-1223, and to collect and prepare the data found in the feudal inventories contained in these registers so that the feudal society of the royal domain can be studied. The edition, to be published in France will be performed b y the principal investigator in cooperation with French paleographers.
