Fifteenth Century European Ivory Production

To examine the European production of religious and secular objects in ivory in the 15th century. P.I. will examine the evidence for Savoyard and Spanish production of these objects. Project will result in the publishing the large group in 15th century ivories in the Walter's Art Gallery, as a beginning of the understanding of this material in its social and historical context.
