To support a conference on the New Deal Cultural Projects with six goals: 1) to assess present state of research and plan long-term goals; 2) to develop a means of communication; 3) to identify viable areas of research; 4) to stimulate new research; 5) to plan an anthology and, 6) to explore means of contributing to present public policy on government patronage of the arts.
