Expansion of Oral History in America

To sponsor a planning conference to study the feasibility, determine procedures, and establish guidelines for the institution of the Oral History project. This project would tell the story of the uprooting and movement of two million people from the South to the North and West through interviews with witnesses and those from communities where this happened at both ends of the lines--South to North and to the West and back again.
