"Tombstone" Translation Project

The project is an English translation of an edited version of the book Mubei (Tombstone), published by veteran Chinese journalist Yang Jisheng in Hong Kong in 2008. Yang has pared down the original two-volume Chinese edition of around 900,000 characters to a more condensed version of around 550,000 characters. Additional footnotes and introductory material will be provided to enhance impact and readability for readers outside of China.
