An Edition of John Donne's Songs and Sonnets and a Further Expansion of DigitalDonne

Completion of volume 4 of the 8-volume Variorum Edition of John Donne's poetry and continued development of the electronic archive, DigitalDonne: the Online Variorum. (36 months)

This project aims to complete a phase of work that is at the heart of The Variorum Edition of the Poetry of John Donne (8 vols.; Indiana U P, 1995-)--the 3-part volume containing Donne's Songs and Sonnets. Further, digital facsimile editions of two important 17th-c. manuscripts of Donne's poems will be added to the growing body of research materials available on the website DigitalDonne: the Online Variorum (http://DonneVariorum. tamu.edu), as will a further group of bibliographical and analytical tools.
