Preparation of a Dictionary of Creole French

The preparation of the first proper dictionary for Creole French, a language spoken by more than five million persons in the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean. The primary dialect selected is that of Haiti where ninety per cent of the population are monlingual speakers of Creole.
