To make available for contemporary research basic sources related to the 1890-1900 period, a crucial era in the history of Puerto Rico in its relationships with the U.S. and Spain. The project will gather sources from local as well as external archives dealing with the social, political, economic, cultural and strategic factors related to the background and aftermath of the Spanish-American War as it affected Puerto Rico.
