‘ To complete the preparation of the first comprehensive guide (in two volumes) to U.S. archives related to Africa. Volume I of the guide, nearly completed, is Entitled "Guide to Federal Archives Related to Africa". Funds will support the indexing and preparation of the final manuscript. Volume II is in the preliminary stages and will be a "Guide to Local Archives and Private Manuscripts Related to Africa.
