Library of Congress (Washington, DC 20540-0002)
Joseph W. Price (Project Director: July 1975 to present)

To provide a resource of standardized and consistent bibliographic data on serials in the humanities for use by the U.S. national community, using data contributed to an Extisting computer-based data collection network called OCLC, by 10 institutions grouped together and managed by the Council on Library Resources as the CONSER project. Support will allow LC to meet the pressing needs of libraries by allowing an acceleration of the process of reviewing and authenticating data contributed by CONSER participants during the 2 years while the computer network remains available.
