The LAGS project is a survey of regional and social dialects in eight Southern states. The LAGS project aims to provide systematically contrastive data representative of all major regional and social varieties of colloquial American English spoken in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas.
