To support the 1976 Bicentennial Conference of the American Society for 18th century studies which will take place at Univ. of Va. in April 1976. The ASECS is an interdisciplinary scholarly society which has as its purpose the advancement of study and research in the history of 18th c. culture. The general subject of the 1976 Conference is "The American Revolution in European Perspective".
