The New Mexico Council will focus upon a program that encourages applicants to probe the meaning of the American experience as a device for exploring the humanistic dimensions of New Mexico's current public policy issues. The Council will give particular attention to the problems of growth, resource utilization, career opportunities, education, and the relationship between government and the individual.
