General operating support for state or territorial humanities council

With the General Operating Support Grant, CT Humanities brings the humanities to life through sub-awards and / or public programming in Connecticut. The council tailors its sub-award making and public programs to the needs, resources, and interests of Connecticut. In doing so, it delivers on its mission to "champion the enduring value of public humanities in our lives and civil society, and through grant funding and capacity building strives to ensure the public humanities will continue to inspire storytelling, lifelong learning, informed public dialogue, and civic engagement in ways that strengthen communities and enhance quality of life for all Connecticut citizens."
