General operating support for state or territorial humanities council

With the General Operating Support Grant, the Wisconsin Humanities Council brings the humanities to life through subawards and public programming in Wisconsin. The council tailors its subaward-making and public programs to the needs, resources, and interests of Wisconsin. In doing so, it delivers on its mission to strengthen our democracy through educational and cultural programs that build connections and understanding among people of all backgrounds and beliefs throughout the state.
