The Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs will use the FY21 National Endowment for the Humanities Partner Grant funding to support the department’s role as the new provisional state humanities council partner for Iowa. With the support of this award, the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs plans to administer a grant program and make subawards to Iowa's arts, culture, heritage, and humanities organizations. This project will be led by the Director of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, Chris Kramer, in collaboration with the Administrators of the Iowa Arts Council, David Schmitz, and the State Historical Society of Iowa, Susan Kloewer.
