Development of a multiformat expansion of an existing radio series that brings scholars and the public together via live, moderated public events, to discuss "underappreciated" events in American history.

"Action Speaks! Underappreciated Dates that Changed America" is a Schwartz Prize-winning moderated live event, radio show, and multimedia collaboration that examines "underappreciated dates" in history as a means of generating vital discussion about the present moment. Through this guiding concept of "underappreciated dates" and its unique multi-platform identity, Action Speaks fosters both interdisciplinary humanities scholarship and rigorous dialogue between scholars, researchers, authors, teachers, professionals, business owners, and the general public.
