Catherine M. Allan (Project Director: August 2011 to June 2024)

Production of a four-part, four-hour television series accompanied by a companion website, a digital engagement strategy, "PBS NewsHour's" Student Reporting Labs in ten cities, and a series of high school debates developed, implemented, and webcast by the National Constitution Center.

TPT National Productions is requesting production funding for THE CONSTITUTION, a multi-platform project on the Constitution of the United States that includes a four-part prime time PBS television series, a web site, social media, and educational resources including an online video game. Drawing from both historical and contemporary issues, THE CONSTITUTION will explore the role of the Constitution in the American story. THE CONSTITUTION has received major support from the Program Challenge Fund of PBS and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and is one of PBS' most highly anticipated new series for 2013.
