Development of a 90-minute documentary film about six-year-olds learning to explore the world through philosophy in three locations around the world.

Playing with Ideas is a feature-length documentary exploring the wonders and challenges of practicing philosophy with children. The film will focus on three countries where this growing global trend has taken root: Brazil, Iran, and the United States. Audiences will enter classrooms, homes and communities where small children are learning to explore the world philosophically, examine their own opinions, disagree without arguing, ask questions without easy answers and develop deeper connections to the world they are only just beginning to know.
