Development of a two-hour documentary about the creation of Canada's first transcontinental railway.

This is a grant proposal for the development phase of The Railway That Built a Nation - a two-hour historical documentary film about the creation of Canada's first transcontinental railroad. The documentary explores the geopolitical, fiscal, and policy implications of this large-scale project as well as the personal sacrifices of thousands of people from all walks of life.
