Seattle Central College (Seattle, WA 98122-2413)
Jaime Cardenas (Project Director: May 2021 to present)

The retention of 11 adjunct faculty and the hiring of a part-time project coordinator for a faculty learning community to revise five humanities courses.

In alignment with the NEH’s Area of Interest of A More Perfect Union, this project seeks to re-center the experiences of Native Americans by developing and supporting a faculty learning community that will work synergistically to redesign humanities pedagogy and curricula to center Indigenous perspectives and ways of learning and doing.
