The creation of educational programs and resources focused on the history and culture of Native Americans, serving 490 students, family members, and educators in Oregon. 

Discovering Yidong Xinag* (*means “Discovering the Old Wisdom” in the Deg Xinag dialect of Athabascan) Native American youth leadership initiative will be expanded to engage Native American and other underrepresented students and families in the rich and diverse cultural and historical perspectives of American Indian and Alaskan Native elders, cultural leaders and indigenous scientists about their local environment and culture. Film clips from Wisdom’s Native Wisdom Documentary Film Series will be added to culturally-tailored multimedia classroom materials and combined with experiential service learning activities at Science and Culture Camps, and special community events including Film Screenings and Community Consultations and Traditional Tribal Storytelling Gatherings.
