The retention of seven staff members and the hiring of seven contract project personnel from the Arizona Apache community to complete a comprehensive online Apache Dictionary, documenting the vocabulary of three Western Apache dialect groups. 

The Arizona Apache Dictionary Project will create the first comprehensive online Arizona Apache Dictionary that includes all three dialects. The dictionary will provide the entire Arizona Apache community with convenient, no-cost access to a well-designed English-Apache/Apache-English dictionary interface with translations, culturally relevant definitions, audio pronunciations, and sample sentences.
