The employment of a tribal consulting service and the payment of stipends to conduct oral history interviews with 64 tribal elders.   

The Tribe is respectfully seeking support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) in the amount of $50,000 to record the oral history, traditional and cultural knowledge of the Potawatomi elders in an effort to preserve this irretrievable knowledge before it slips away.
