The creation of two full-time positions, an Interdepartmental Project Manager and a Digital Archivist, to oversee the museum’s cross-departmental projects and ensure that digitally curated material produced during the pandemic period is preserved for long-term use.
NOMA typically hosts up to 20 exhibitions annually supplemented by a rich and varied array of public programming initiatives tailored to engage visitors in direct dialogue and interaction with the historical, anthropological, and philosophical aspects of the works and/or performances. The current project supports the personnel necessary to meet two of NOMA’s most pressing needs that have emerged in the last year, as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. NOMA seeks funding to support preservation and access personnel, including Interdepartmental Project Manager and Digital Archivist, for a period of 1-year beginning in October of 2021.
