MHC seeks funding for projects that make Mississipians’ stories accessible -- famous writers, community oral histories, accounts of new population groups, and scholar narratives. These will be presented via vehicles such as “MS Moments” radio show, the MS Timeline, Speaker’s Bureau, as well as teacher institutes and our oral history projects. These grow our collaborative efforts with the inter-agency Culture Club. One new collaboration presents the Picturing America program statewide. |
