The Plain Thinking project is a multifaceted approach to humanities in North Dakota. The NDHC plans to bring book and film discussions to communities across the state, to support a major public lecture in philosophy that will be broadcast on television and radio, to offer competitive challenge grants to communities that foster grass roots humanities programming as well as large regional media projects,and finally to offer a training institute that will train new chautauqua scholars. |
