The IHC seeks funding for We the People in Illinois for statewide programs including Museum on Main Street, Illinois Road Scholars Speakers Bureau, the Meaning of Service, the Odyssey Project, the Freedom Riders 50th Anniversary series, the Meaning of Service and the Community Grants Program. These programs will explore American roots music, civil rights history, American literature and other important topics in American history and culture.The programming will benefit primarily rural and downstate audiences, as well as low-income residents in Chicago. |
