The Jericho Public Library requests a Preservation Assistance Grant to implement our short-, medium- and long-term priorities as outlined in our Preservation Planning Survey. The Library has made significant progress toward insuring the long-term survival of the local history collection, but there are important preservation needs still to be addressed. Our goal is to meet our short -and medium-term priorities so we can focus on the long-term priorities. Our long-range plans are to make this room as archivally correct, and as secure yet as accessible as possible. |
